Falling asleep in bath?

Every time I give Vash a bath, he flattens out and lowers his head and looks very drowsy. One time I actually caught him sleeping in the bath. Is this normal? He usually gets pretty dark when he's in there too.

Is it possible that he is drinking? When I first saw my beardie drink like that, I thought he was trying to drown himself. It took him doing it a couple of times to figure it out. I have a pic of it somewhere, will have to see if I can find it

This is not a great great pic of it, but you can kind of see how he is flat and has his head down and looks like he is asleep (cat drinking lizard bath water not included!)

That is an adorable picture, but not the same as what my beardie does... He has his eyes shut and everything. He's definitely dozing off, not drinking.

My first beardie, Wink, fell asleep in the bath all the time. :roll: He was such a weirdy... He could fall asleep any where, any time LOL.
Dudley has never completely fallen asleep in the bath, but some times he will get a little drowsy, and I have to wake him up a little. When he drinks, it seems like he nods off a little.

Oh good, so mine's not the only one. He got really dark in the bath and for a while afterwards so I held him and he stretched out along my arm with his nose snuggled in my elbow and fell asleep. Soo cute.

I've heard that beardies sometimes play dead when overwhelmed. Mine did that sometimes in his first week or so in his new enclosure.

Never heard of this before... Hm. Mine wouldn't be overwhelmed by anything in the bath though, since it's just water and a tub and he's in there at least once a week.

Mine falls alseep in the bath all the time. He will slowly lower his head and if you watch him he will jump up like he woke up and doesnt remeber where he was
