What should I do when I'm expecting brumation? How should I care for him if he does go into brumation?

Hello everybody, so this is a pretty straightforward question, but I just like to get it answered, so I know for future advice. My bearded dragon has just started sleeping during the day, winter is approaching and he is almost one year old, since I've had him, I just want to make sure I know what to do in case he does go into brumation. How should I continue to care for him so he doesn't lose too much weight, and what do I do when he's brumating? He normally never sleeps when his lights are on, but he'll close his eyes when he's basking, but he is literally, actually, like falling asleep, he has his arm back like he would when he's actually sleeping, and his eyes have been closed for a while. He's not fully asleep, but he looks like he's on the verge of falling asleep.

Next I would change out the mesh hammock for a fleece or a cloth one-- the mesh are famous for causing nail injuries --

I would get him a hide as well --- I dont see one in the tank -- but I do like your swing you have in the tank does he use it? If you have anymore questions after reading the article please post them

Oh my goodness, yes he uses it! All the time! He does have a hide in his tank! Cork! Here's pictures of him on his swing! And a picture of the hide, and of course, him right now.

Ok he looks so cute on the swing-- the plant was hiding the hide! Ok well if you have questions about his behavior or concerns post them and someone should be able to answer you
