Eyes half way closed

Hey my bearded dragon Im really not sure if hes sick just kinda being alert about it it seems that he has his eyes closed under the basking light half way always is that normal?

What type of UVB bulb are you using?

Yes, please let us know what type & brand of UVB you are using? Is it a fluorescent tube bulb or a compact/coil light?
How close is it to him? What type of basking light are you using?

repti sun 10 it is kinda half way its not directly under the basking light because I cant get it to fit on the cage so Im in the process of building me a new cage so hopefully it wont be too long hes still very active so its good

Hello,

You are using a Reptisun 10 tube bulb not a compact/coil, correct? Make sure if you are using a tube bulb, that the basking light is placed directly beside it, which will protect his eyes.
How is he doing now?
That is great you are building him a new tank. Be sure to post pictures of it when you are completed.
