The one thing we can all say about our dragons, is they keep us occupied and make us laugh. You must get such a laugh when Emily does her house cleaning. and using the chair for a tail rest is so cute! I'm so glad they're both doing so well. Makes me feel good!

Emily and Emmett are doing well despite the fact, except for eating and being tucked into bed, they were basically ignored. Friday night we had a neighborhood fire pit party which entailed roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. Saturday was spent shopping for the neighborhood barbecue where hubby made hamburgers on the grill, I made baked beans and bought the chips and stuff for hamburgers and drinks. Sunday was our kids day where we had the neighborhood water fight. Sometimes its just fun to let your inner kid come out and do things only kids do for the most part. Stacks of water balloons, water guns, and 2 pools and it was so much fun. Emily and Emmett will get some extra time today with mommy.
I think we will have an early winter this year and a hard winter. My burning bushes are already turning bright red and the aspens are turning yellow along with some maples. They don't usually start turning till late Sept. We got the generator ready just in case we need it and it works well. We will just have to handle whatever mother nature throws at us but we can do it in comfort. As long as its not flood waters being thrown at us.
I cant believe its been almost a yr since the flood <Sept 18>. Here is a video of the churches that helped us so much. My house is the little one story house with the boat in the driveway, the two, two story houses are Josh's and Tory and Tonya's homes. You will see my little green car in this video to :lol: I don't know who has all the clothes on the fence but think that is Rob and Michelle on the other side of us. This will give you an idea of the miracle that happened in the aftermath of the flood.

Please do not lock this thread. My internet modem and router are acting up, internet company is supposed to send a modem to us on Monday or Tuesday. Our modem is 7 years old and burned out about. I am lucky I could post this, as its been so intermittent. On a quick note, Emily and Emmett are doing well. I will be back as soon as possible if we lose connection again and cant get it back till we get the new modem. Thanks and hugs.

Thank you, so far so good as far as it holding but don't know for how long, new modem should be here tomorrow or Tuesday, hubby will configure it and get it up and running when it comes in. I slept in today, don't know why but just got Emily and Emmett up.
I have no idea why I did not get a picture of it but Emily pulled one heck of a stunt last night. I went to put her to bed and she had pushed her little chair literally up into her bed and was laying with her head next to it like Mommy this my chair, there are many like it but this one is mine. I pulled the chair off her bed, to put her in bed and she hissed at me and refused to stay in her bed, had to put her back in bed twice last night, she wanted her chair silly dragon.
I don't want to wake him up with a flash but that's how you would have to see it. Emmett loves to sleep in his hammock but <lets see if can explain this so you can see it in your head> he loves to sleep upright against the high point of his hammock with his chest on his pillow and his head hanging off the high point of the hammock with his nose pointed to the floor of his house.
Looks like rain today so a great day for cleaning their houses after they have breakfast. So I need to get in gear here and hope the modem holds out till tomorrow or Tuesday. I will do my best to get some pictures up after they are fed and have their houses cleaned up.

Emily and Emmett got their breakfast, houses all cleaned up, and bathed. I am pooped now lol. Put them back in their nice clean houses and they both proceed to pooh :twisted: :lol: Anyway here are some pictures, lets see how long it takes Her Royal Highness of Canopy <Emily> to start house keeping to put things where she wants them. She still loves her canopy bed and loves to snuggle down under the covers to sleep.

After reading your tale of Emily's 'housekeeping' of last night I had a thought run through my mind that I shared with Bill (husband). I thought with Emily's housekeeping requirements, I imagined if she was a human female with a husband. The poor man wouldn't know where things were from day to day. He'd come home from work to find the living room moved around. Maybe he'd be afraid that he'd wake up in the morning to find the things he needs to take to work that day would have been moved. :lol: In her case, it's o.k. for her to move things around, her chaos is limited to her tank, not the whole house.

I like reading your stories of her, they are funny! Emmett seems to have grown a lot.

Don't worry about your thread being locked. From the sound of when your modem will be fixed, you have plenty of time before it's locked. I haven't posted on my thread in several weeks, you only have to worry about one week, maybe.

Have a great day. I am praying that you don't have a flood problem again this year, or if you do, it won't be anywhere near as bad as last year.

If Emily were a human female with her housekeeping habits, I could see us waking up to chairs trapping us in the bed! It seems she loves her little plastic chair and her canopy bed and wants them with her :lol: Right now it's Emmett that is tossing his pillow off his hammock and kicking food out of his salad bowl. There is a tree stump behind his hammock he likes to hang out on to cool off and in the process he goes over his hammock, kicks the pillow out of his way, moves his blankie to where its wadded up a bit so he can go over it climb the tree stump and stand on the blankie lol. They keep me laughing at their quirky ways :lol:

Emily decided that it was best to use her chair for her chin while dragging pillows off her bed for a footrest...the laughter at her antics never stop..she had to have the chair postioned just so for her head and her back leg on her pillow :lol:
