along with the 2 rescues i picked up i also got a "healthy" 4-5 month old. noticed she wasnt eating or pooping the last day or two and decided about an hour ago to give her some of the slurry i made for the rescues. got her to eat a little of it and went to give her a bath when she all of the sudden went limp. water was barely a puddle and she was barely in it. she was still semi responsive and i put her under the heat lamp and she sat there for about a minute then tried to leave but could not move any leg at all, just wiggled her body to try and move. its been about 10 minutes now and she seems to only be getting worse. she had no signs of impaction and seemed to be healthy. has a zoo med 100 watt basking light and the basking spot is 105 and has a reptisun 10 t8 bulb. im honestly afraid she wont make it through the night

I'm sorry this has happened. Test for movement by turning your dragon on its back or side. If there is no response then it most likely has passed. Again I am sorry this has happened to your little buddy.

I'm so sorry, if you put her on her back and she's unresponsive then yes, she has passed away because they can't breath when they are on their backs...

Is it possible that she inhaled some water and aspirated it into her lungs? For a small juvenile Dragon it only takes a couple of drops of water in their lungs to do this, and sometimes even when they are just trying to drink the water, if they try to drink a bunch too quickly, this often happens.

Either way I'm so sorry.

Hello,

Oh no, how sad! I am so sorry that happened. You are sure she is not breathing at all?
It is always horrible when a situation like this occurs.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
