Hi all,

So my beardie has a droopy eyelid. The one on his left side looks to drop more than the other.

Is this a cause for concern?

Seems normal. bigger question is, have YOU noticed a difference/change?

Yeah, his left eye seems droopier than the other, but I've had for such a short amount of time, so I'm not sure if he's just growing or something :?:

AHHH, well now that i focus a little more, i can kinda see it! How old is he? When was the last time he went through a shed? Id would keep an eye on it a and take a picture daily! its hard to tell if it gets worse when you're seeing it daily. this way, after a week or so you can review through the pictures to see if there is any progression in the droopy eye. Also, keep a watch out for any discharge coming from it! It could be a bacterial infection causing it to do that, or a scratch.. :study:

Hi. What kind of lights do you use? Do you give him baths? Sometimes drooping eyes are a sign of dehydration.

That's a great idea! He's actually going through a shed right now. When I got him back in June, he had just finished a shed and his tail was finishing up, but it's not until now that his body started discoloring. He already shed from his head though, and he started doing the eye bulg thing.

Right now, he is under a Reptisun 10.0 strip light and a 100 watt Ceramic Heat Emitter. There is also a 60 watt heatbulb I got from the hardware store. Prior to this, though, he was under a 100 watt powersun MVB. He would close his eye a lot, and I had his basking spot too close to the bulb. Would that be a cause of his droopy eye? He hasn't been under the powesun ever since 6 weeks.

I do give him baths. I've been giving him daily baths because his skin is so wrinkly from the sides and he is going through a shed.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
