Curious, at what point do you guys give up and toss? These are both from good stock, but mom was only 8/9 mos for the two clutches. Doesn't look like there will be a third, thank god. She's back to fat, finally looks like she's gonna break 200g.
So exciting! Congrats! My advice would be no matter how tempting it is to help them out...DON'T. Leave them in there until their umbilical cord detaches from the egg and they are walking around the incubator. Sometimes I leave them in there for a day afterwards.
I have collapse, no hatchlings yet. My question was more toward when I should give up on them. I've had one that collapsed 27-29 hours ago, the other two collapsed between 3-12 hours ago.
Tom: Not BACK up to 200, she put down two clutches before weighing 190g. I thought it was my fault, but based on when I got them and when the first eggs came they had to have exchanged DNA before I got them. It looks like she's done though, the two were 33 days apart and it's upward of 40 since. I PM'd you.
Tastiger: Give me a few minutes, it's only one right now but he (until proven otherwise) is running all over in the incubator and almost jumped to his death when I was getting measurements.
