I knew someone who did something similar to a iguana I was so mad. He threw the iguana outside in winter and left it there all night to freeze to death. He knew I loved lizards and showed me I was furious. I told him to leave right there or I was calling the cops and having him charged with animal cruelty. I did not want to see the frozen dead iguana and was so upset. I can still see the expression on the poor iguanas face. I some times still have nightmares from that.

As for having the same thing done to them I don't think that is a good solution but jail time is. Though I can say I really wanted to that day rip that guy clothes off throw him outside and not let him in till he died of hypothermia I really wanted to.

But still does not mean that that should have been done but the guy needed to spend time in jail for that. They should have also plastered the look on the frozen iguanas face all over his cell to think about what he had done every day. Of course throwing him outside and making him think I would let him freeze out there would have been a good lesson.

Had to add an edit I do get how the chip thing could be useful. In this case they could have scanned the dead beardies and got a name of who did that and punished them for it.

i live in australia and these guys are a native here and seeing this is so foul that im ashamed that we sent these guys away from thier county just to be neglected.

its absolutley foul and i just hope that all peopl in this forum will respect love and nurture our localsand keep them happy as i know most of you are. promise you uy will keep on giving excellent info and advice to stop this crap from happening..

this is sick. i live in the UK myself and people just dont see how a reptile can be a pet but ive found they are just as loving, if not more, than the 'average' pet, if not more special. they may not be furry and we may not be able to take them for walks but they do so much more for us. they are loving creatures that deserve a hell of a lot more than what this sick twisted person has done. i couldnt sleep at night knowing that there were 5 beautiful creatures in a bin bag. whoever did this should be caught and have their name released sot hat their friends can know what a vile person they really are. people like this dont deserve the love of these beardies and i hope they go to a good home where they will never have to got through this ordeal ever again.

I have a good punishment for this person simply lock this person up for days with barely enough food to survive terrible care until this persons health starts to fail then throw him in a refuse bag in a bin and dump this person on the side of the road somewhere and make sure this sub human dies in that bin.

Then throw there body out like the useless trash the person was and be done with it. Either that or lock this person up with a big gay convict who does horrible and downright disturbing things with this persons backside if you know what I mean. Make it to the point he is begging to be beaten and left on the side of the road for death.

I know I have already posted on this thread,but I had to comment on something. I agree 100% with dracoowner about these being wonderful creatures!!!!! I had always had mammals,cats,dogs,rabbits,etc..... I never thought I would even like a reptile let alone be "slave" to 2 of them. My Alf is the pride of the whole house. She cuddles with each of us and will fall asleep while we are holding her,it just warms your heart. My husband is a big bear of a man,but turns to melted butter when Alf snuggles next to his neck and goes to sleep. And who says we can't take them walking? Maybe not on a leash,but put your dragon on your shoulder and go. I have taken Alf several places like that and get everything from,is that thing eal? to can I pet it or hold it? Wonderful little creatures. I also have a leopard gecko and she will now let me hold her.

That just makes me sick to see that someone could do that to an animal :evil: ...I love my beardies so much, I have even gone without so that they get proper care. I would pay someone to take them if I could no longer care for them...
