dig box

Im thinking of giving my baby (3-4 month old) dragon a dig box to play in. I have alfalfa bedding/litter stuff ftom pet store, would that work for him?

I'd be careful with any kind of loose substrate with a little guy for fear of impaction.

Itd be outside of cage fir when i take him out for the day, id keep close eye on him,
Ive noticed hes rather unique lol, so he might not like the dig box

Every dragon is a bit different. If you want to experiment with it, go for it. Just keep a close eye on him.

Alfalfa works good, some folks use millet seeds, I use coco coir. Make sure the pellets don't get wet, they get nasty fast if they do. Also keep an eye that your dragon doesn't try to eat them. They are very dry, and while alfalfa is digestible the large dry pellets could be a impaction risk.
