Dark spot on skin for several months

I have an almost 6yo female named Pheeny. She is very happy and healthy and has been seen by a reptile vet for check ups in the past. For the past 2-3 months, she has a dark spot on her side about 1/2" big that *looks* like it should be a shed spot except that it never sheds. I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas about it or if it's something I should take her to the vet for.

Just my opinion buy I would take her to the vet.

I second the vet. It could be fungal and you want to know before it gets worse. Please keep us posted

Yoda has something that looks similar. Did you figure out what the spot is?

That does look like fungus. Did your vet have any idea, and prescribe anything ? Some vets aren't familiar with skin problems on beardies. Many people use Lamisil or Monistat cream on the fungal areas. I hope it turns out O.K.
