I have read that cresties do shed . We have had stickie for 2 months now but she has not shed . She is growing and is almost 4 1/2 inches long , I believe she was 3 in when we got her .
On average how many times will the shed ?

It is a rare occasion if you catch your crestie shedding. If it is growing, eating, and pooping, it is also shedding. They eat their shed, while you are sleeping, and you'll probably never know it happened. No worries! :D

Thanks , not the answer I was expecting but good to know she is doing fine .

At one point her head looked a bit greyish and I though that would be the start of her shed but never saw any sheds in the tank.
I guess I just thought she would shed like our beardie Jim .

It's not quite the same process. You could look up some youtube videos if you want to see how it works, it's interesting to see them turn around, peel it off and eat it

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
cookie event at my library today, quite fun! Made some bracelets for my comrades too, to give them at church in the morning. Got a busy day tomorrow even though I’m off work… i go back on tuesday so atleast I’ll have 2 days off to rewind….then back to hell lol
