Crazy Loki

So my beardie Loki is a bit of a daredevil to night he was running around on my bed when he came to the edge and turned looked at me and gave me this look like I dare you to move and I'll jump luckily I caught him just before he made his dive

Hello it's been a Long time sense I last posted about Loki. well to start Loki's home got up graded to a 30 gallon tank until he gets a little bigger last time I measured him he was 7 1/2 inches long I think he would be longer if part of his tail wasn't missing.I'm hoping this is about the right size for his age I'm guessing he's between 3 and 4 months old every one keeps telling me he is getting bigger but I just don't see it. Here's a pic of him today on his favorite blanket on my bed.

Well let me tell you a little bit about Loki he is a little dare devil who likes to jump from my bed to the floor or off the computer. His favorite place to poo is in his bath or on my bed but it's ok I've gotten used to always cleaning my sheets now. He like watching my little cuzin's play and of course he likes to explore. All though he's on probation because he was trying to eat all the fuzzies on my floor he is such a Loki. Well that's all I can think of for now sorry for making this so long. I'll put more pics in his next post.

Well Loki's Phoenix worms and silkworms arrived to day I gave him 15 Phoenix worms so he can get used to his new food and he attacked those worms like he was starving I'm waiting for the silks to get a little bigger before I feed them to him but I'm sure he'll like them he basically will eat anything I give him never had a problem with feeding him

Oh my gosh, I love the name! He looks pretty healthy to me, though I'd limit the kale intake and slowly wean him off and switch to something else, just to be safe. I usually use collard and mustard greens, depending on what's fresh at the local Wal-Mart, with a little bit of baby food on top. My babies seem to like it, especially my dragon, who devours it as soon as it's in sight! I really love the squash baby food, because if you get the natural kind, it's just squash and water, and much easier than slicing, softening and serving fresh butternut. :B I also use grapes, apples, strawberries, and even blackberries from our field as treats. There's tons of stuff to try, and several good lists of what is good for them and what isn't floating around the web. Go crazy! Have fun with it! x3

I'm so glad he's warmed up to you! I've had a mean beardie, who is now tamed, but it's not too fun to have your precious dragon child not love you back. With patience and plenty of food, they all seem to come around though!

Thank you and I switched him to collard greens and I mix things up a lot it's fun to feed Loki a different mixes of stuff. The little piggy will eat anything I put in his cage. I'm also happy that he has warmed up to right now he is sleeping on my stomache until I go to bed.

Well today was a great day for me and Loki we took a 2 hour nap together. I put him in my sweater so he would stay warm and when I woke up he was still there. That was nice.

So I was really worried that Loki was to small for his age about 6 months give or take a few weeks. I measured him and he was only 9" but I just found out that Loki is missing about half his tail I knew he was missing some I just didn't know it was that much :shock: . That being said I estimated that he probably missing 3 or 4 inches of his tail so in reality he is probably about 12 or 13 inches. This took a lot of worry of my mind. Also I finally got the money for a reptisun I just wanted to know if I should get a 5.0 or a 10.0 I have a 30 gallon tank for now but I will be upgrading to a 40 when Loki gets bigger.
