I have a place to take the babies that I don't need/want... and all the supplies to properly care for the young until tey are old enough to leave. I am really just curious about the nutritional health needed for the female to have an easy time with the eggs.

When is your female due to lay her eggs? I personally would give her all the bugs she wants, dusted with calcium of course, until she stops eating the week before she lays. The last week she will need fluids, this is when we give extra liquid calcium to help the eggs to shell properly while she isn't getting any nutrition. This is more important with the second, third, and if she has a fourth clutch.

Let me know if you need more details!

Thank you for your help... She hasn't bred yet... I think I am going to wait until next season and get a bit more prepared.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
