Clutches

How many clutches does a dragon lay from a breeding. Mine laid 21 eggs her first clutch, all were bad except 1 which is in the incubator now. Just curious if I should watch for more..

From what I have read and understood they can lay anywhere from 3-9 clutches from one breeding approximately 4-5 weeks apart. Some beardies lay each clutch earlier than that like 2-3 weeks apart.
I took in a rescue bearded dragon that I did not know was with a male in December and she started to lay her first clutch in March. She has laid 3 clutches so far and she is getting chunky again. Please make sure your beardie is on a good diet with calcium and vitamins! Fresh greens like turnip or dandelion and gut loaded insects. My rescue was fed nothing but jarred food and I feel that has led to the demise of her clutches. All of her first clutch went down the tubes and only three look good from her second clutch, and I haven't candled the third yet but I bet only a couple will be fertile.

Yea her diet is really good She gets mix of supers, crix, and dubia, as well as fresh greens, turnip greens, collard greens, mustard greens, green beans, her feeders are all dusted with repti calc with D3 reptisun 10. I have a laybox for her but she didnt use it her first clutch LOL. So I think she is pretty much set. She has not been eating past day or 2 only a couple crix, a few greens etc. so I think that she is about ready to lay again. She is shedding too so that may be it. I was just curious.
