clipping nails

My girl is about 8 months old. Her nails have a slight curl to them. Should I be clipping them? If so, how often and is there a certain technique/tools I should use?

yes, I clip my beardies nails. You have to be EXTREMELY careful. I do it when Lilly is asleep so she is less likely to pull away or push down into teh nail clippers. I use a normal cat nail clipper that looks like scissors. you need to cut at the point where the nail narrows.

don't go above, because you will cut teh "quick" and make your beardie bleed. If you hapen to do this by acident use some flour to clot the bleeding if you dont have nitrate sticks
