As far as price goes for California cricket farms, I think it goes something like lllreptiles/reptilefood/mulberry farms. By far my most satisfying experience has been with reptilefood.
LLL decided to use a shipping company that only ships inside CA to get to me in WA, so it took like a week and I was having an easily 50% die-off. The final straw came when the $%%& delivery guy left 2000 crickets outside. In the snow. 100% die-off and LLL wouldn't do anything about it because I ordered when it was cold. Although who knew the snow was going to be a foot deep the week after I placed the order?
Mulberry's nice and has a great selection of worms, but they're a little steep for me on a limited budget. The dragons already eat better than we do. Also, I got "3 week" crickets that were like an inch long. I'm not sure what's up with that, they were way to big for my little girl so the big'uns were forced to do some hunting. I only use them because they're the only farm I can find that takes direct pay from Paypal.
Reptilefood has a limited selection, but everything gets here promptly, alive, in good health, at the right sizes and with a decent overcount.
