Chaos *6/29 Bath Pics*

I have no idea how many people will read/look at this, but after seeing how people use just 1 thread for all their beardie pics I decided to steal the idea and use it too. Seems to me life will be much easier.

I was going thru pics and I can't believe how much my little Chaos has grown and changed since I got him n May, he was 6ish weeks old then....

And just today....

He doesn't even look like the same beardie that I brought home. I had no idea when I bought him that he would grow so quiclky or change so drastically.

He has posed for numerous pictures since I brought him home. Some taken by me....

And some taken by my daughter....

Awwwww he is sooooo cute in his baby blanket! Lilly is 19 mos old and hasn't quit gaining weight, but she has only grew 1/8th of an inch since she was 9 months old (although I haven't measured her in a month or two, I'll have to do that again today and see).

ETA- Well she has actually grown another 1/2 an inch or so since I last measured :shock:

Thanks Katrina. I love his beard too. I think it is 18 months when they stop growing too, but he has been this length for awhile now. I'd love him to get a little bigger, but who knows...

Hey Jen! The pics of Chaos are sweet! Is he still enjoying his Florida room? What did he think about all the rain we had last week?
BTW... they can still grow after 18 months. Generally 18 mo's is when they have reached adulthood and don't do much growing after that. That's not always the case though. Rex, who is going on 7 y.o., grew another 1.5" after the age of 2... so it can happen. They typically start growing in gerth rather than length as adults.
Are you and the kids still spending your days in the pool? Are ya'll going out to the beach tomorrow to watch the fireworks?

Hi there Dawn! Chaos doesn't spend as much time in the sun room as he had been. I seem to be finding him away from his basking spot more and more when he is out there. Now I am limiting the time he spends there b/c of that. I was afraid we were going to have to build an ark with all that rain! I have hopes that Chaos will reach 24" but we will see, he hasn't been eating a lot lately. Still in the pool a good bit. We aren't going anywhere for fireworks, this will be the first year we have ever stayed home. Being new here we have no idea where to go and then with the whole oil thing ( ) we are just going to have fun here.

Hi Jen, I got unsubscribed again, so just got caught up. Chaos' beard is awesome, so orange. He sure looks smug and happy, he knows he has a great slave I'm glad he's enjoying the sun room, it gives him good exercise. He's really buff, or so Sweetie says (she's 4 yrs old, the hussy!) He's got great muscle tone & I'll bet he feels better having some real sunlight. As for the not eating so much, he's just trying to worry you. Lonzo and Rubio stopped eating during the big hormonal season (Feb-Apr) and they each lost 100g. In May Rubio gained the 100g back in 3 weeks. Lonzo's still working at it, but he's now starting to gain again. They're all so different, and Chaos is on the verge of adulthood. Rubio will be 2 yrs old on Aug 1, he still acts like a crazy teenager.

I just loved all the pics, Chaos looks so cute in his towel after his bath. What a sweetie, bet he gets LOTS of cuddles

I'll have to keep checking your thread to not miss anything.

I just love your pool & jaccuzi, I'll bet you get in the pool as much as possible as long as it's not 104F in the shade. YUCK, that's just too hot.

Congrats on getting rid of the last of the pink carpeting. I just love the wood floors, glad the carpeting went well. Sounds like you have a lovely house, cool and comfy.

OOOPS, she weighs 530!!!
How was your 4th? We stayed in for the first year ever too but it's just because we it was pretty cool last night and noone wanted to go anywhere! It was movie night instead! So Mr. Chaos wasn't basking enough?? Are you gonna give him half days or what??

Sorry guys, didn't mean to go MIA. Not much new to report here though. Chaos hasn't been eating real well, if at all for the past week. I think he's getting tired of supers, so I'm gonna get some hornworms to see if that helps. I need to get some new pics up of him too.

Took the boat out into the bay this past weekend to watch the Blue Angles. It's the 3rd time that I have seen them, and then never fall short, ever. They are amazing!

Hey Jen! Sorry to hear Chaos is being a pain and not wanting to eat Luckily, I can say that Bligg is eating supers like crazy. In fact, I just ordered 250 supers and some Horns this morning.
We went out in the boat to see the Blues as well. Did you guys go friday or saturday? We always go on friday.. less traffic on the water. Although I have lived in FL most of my life and have seen the Blues countless times, they still astound me every time. They are truly awesome!
