Caring for worms

Hello, I'm planning on buying Silk, Phoenix, Butter and hornworms within the next days and I was just wondering if there were any guidelines on how to store/care for them.

Phoenix worms & hornworms come in their own containers with food. No need to do anything.

Store them both in a cool location. PW can dry out if they aren't eaten fast. Just add a couple drops of water if that happens.

HW --- store upside down & the worms will climb up to the food. Their droppings will sit on the lid, so just hold it over the trash when opening.

Sorry, haven't tried the others yet.

I know my bd loves the 2 we've tried though.

You mean store in my fridge or will that be too cool?

A fridge would be too cold. I have read some people have wine fridges & they work great for PW. Not sure about HW. I keep mine in our basement, which is the coolest place in our house.

Also, after re-reading my post .... Pw do need to be eaten fast, or they turn black & get ready to change .... But you do have roughly 3 weeks. However, HW can grow much faster. Like a couple days fr little to big.
