I know the forums is geared mostly towards Bearded Dragons, but maybe we could start doing research into the sub-forums and post quality care sheets as stickies. I would be interested to help doing this as well. Let me know what you guys think.
Yes I know, I have read those. Most of the articles are very informative and can explain things that happen in multiple reptiles. I was talking about more specific care sheets under each sub forum. Say under geckos we could have a care sheet for Leopard Geckos, Cresteds, etc...
I'm pretty good with the research aspect and could probably do enough research to write the basic care sheets for one animal a week or so. Just thought it would be a cool idea to get the community involved and a way to learn about other reptiles.

Unfortunately, we would need people who are willing to write articles. Much of what we have was written by me, or other members of the site. I keep meaning to extend the ability for articles to be managed by multiple people so I am not always the bottle neck (perhaps articles done using some Wiki software). but that's a matter of time. I do not have much experience with many other reptiles. And really... the site is heavily geared towards beardies. But I can see that if there is enough demand, and people willing to work on articles, we can extend the articles to include "Other Reptiles".
But... the ability to make a more collaborative effort more viable still needs to get setup by me before that can be done easily.

Sorry didn't realize anyone responded but the spammer a while back. That would be an interesting way of doing it though. The document management style, like a wiki. I wrote a care guide up on the leopard gecko. I am currently working on a Chinese Water Dragon guide as well. I plan on getting a Uro sometime in the near future so am doing tons of research on them. Will try and get a good caresheet up on those as well. I actually like the research part of this almost as much as the actual husbandry. I know I'm somewhat a geek, but it will be ok.
