Funny! :lol: Frank did ask me once what he would have to do to get some attention?.........Then he asked if it would help if he was in a container and was morphing? It's no wonder he is glass dancing he doesn't get as much attention as the beardies and their bugs. :laughing6: No that's not true but I think he might feel that way sometimes. :lol:

It's really nice to have a camera again just in time for them to wake up. So of course I've taken lots more pic's I'm uploading to photobucket right now.

How do you do it??

Luckily I'm afforded the opportunity to stay home with them all day......they are my job. :lol:
Feeding, bathing, cleaning viv's, cleaning up poop, feeding their bugs, and giving each of them attention pretty much takes up an entire day. I so enjoy it though! :mrgreen:

Very cool, Barbara! I'm glad your crew is back up and all looking so photogenic! They are all so good looking! But where the picture of Frank glass dancing? :laughhard: My guys have been waking up, going back down, up, down in random order, random days, (what is that game, whack a mole? but we'd never, not ever whack a beardie! Not even a real mole, although the cats feel a little differently about moles.) and right now Nef, Spike, Astarte, Thoth and Gaia are all down, Spike, Thoth and Gaia not even looking at salad this morning. The babies are all up, as are Fib, Diver, Kang, Thorn, Galadriel, Galileo, and Hob are all up, with Diver and Kang only down a few days, Galileo, Hob and the babies not at all so far, but that could all change tomorrow! The weather is cloudy and rainy here, and I'd like to brumate a bit! Thank you for the pic fix, and, as always, :love5: to you and the whole crew!

LOL! Good for him! Calypso loves a salad, but I can't get Oscar to eat any still. He needs to eat some since he woke up from brumating not long ago. I will be heading out today for some supers, but he needs those veggies. Little brat won't eat them.

Do you do anything to make them come out of brumation??? How long do they stay usually? Elvis is still out for the count and it drives me crazy every year. He's been brumating since December. I just want to yell "wake up darn it and come out to play"! or at least move a muscle!!!! I have new silkworms and new supers, and blueberries, squash, green beans and all kinds of goodies waiting for him....

Its so unfair tho - just as everyones beardies are waking up, Kazi has decided he needs to get 40 winks in before spring.... I am determined not to let him sleep tho!!! Hopefully, my determination will be much more powerful than his!

Usually as the days get longer and warmer they will begin to wake. You can try to leave the lights on for an hour longer and see if that might wake him up. But for the most part I've noticed that if they really want to sleep that is exactly what they are going to do. Have you read the article on brumation?
http://www.beardeddragon.org/articles/brumation/ It might be helpful in understanding their brumation period a bit better. In my house all of them are different in how and how long they will sleep. Some will sleep here and there, some knock out for about 8 to 10 weeks. :roll: Hope your Elvis wakes up soon. :wink:

Since we're talking about brumation, I have what may seem like a silly question:

When you know your beardie is brumating, whether it's for a day or two or longer, do you still have their lights go on and off as usual? It seems like such a poor usage of lights having them on, but if you don't what keeps the viv warm? :dontknow:
