Brumation

My beardie went into brumation but he didn't have bowl movement prior to it. I tried waking him up to go but he's so sleepy he just crawls back in the dark and sleeps. Is it bad if he brumates without pooping?

Are all your temps.+ lighting the same or has it become cooler in the house ? How old is the dragon ? If everything else is good and he's not hiding because the temp. suddenly got lower then just let him be. I've never once had a problem with any dragon that started to brumate without the definitive " last poo." So, just let him be. He knows what he needs + will be fine.

He's about 2.5. Last year he went into brumation around the same time and didn't come out until end of January
But this year he ate live food a few days before so I know he has some in him but didn't go ...
