Breeding dubia

Can you just put 2 male dubias in with 8 females and will they breed together without a bunch of other mixed sizes?

Yes. You ideally want between a 1:3 to a 1:5 male/female ratio. I just feed off the males if I notice there getting to be a lot of them :twisted:

I bought from Sapphire on here, she sent me a really good mixed batch. I didn't really read up on breading them, and didn't intend to, but I put them in a 10 gallon screened house with a small small heating pad on the side I stack up their hiding crates, and every other day I peek in there, MORE babies! I have to MANY now, to bad one of my beardies could care less if he starves then eats them, so he gets supers.

I put alot of mixed food out for them, everything everyone has mentioned to feed them, and they love chunks of spag sqaush. OH yes, they started breeding more heavily when I made their enclosure dark with a towl, still vented at one corner, so now I have taken that towel off.....I need NO more dubias...set for a couple of years probably, LOL

I said beardeddragon.co had the best prices because they were on sale. I think its kind of hard to beat 4 females and 1 male for $2! I bought two of them.
