Boodah,Crush,Gizmo,Princess n Mika! Updated 4/23 :)

Even though we are still mourning our little Spike, he led us to our new luvbug, Boodah! I don't know if I am supposed to say, but we visited with Tom of TND Dragons today. He was wonderful and has the most beautiful dragons who are very well loved and cared for. Tom and his wife are so friendly and welcoming.

Here are the first pics of Boodah who is still settling in having just arrived home this afternoon. He weighed in at 14g today! More than double Spike! Boodah is wicked FAST and luvs jumping around his viv. He is extremely inquisitive and we can't wait until he's completely settled in and his full personality comes thru. Boodah is already very feisty and we are hopelessly head over heels in luv!

The kindness and generosity of everyone on this forum astounds me. It really is like a family here and I am so grateful for all of you. It's amazing how many wonderful friends I've made already. Thank you for your never-ending support during our trying times with Spike and for helping us welcome Boodah into our family.

Hey guys! Oh, the weather has been so beautiful, our family was out n about all weekend. My sister took care of Crush n Boodah while we were out w/the kids! She fed them, played w/them, took them outside, and held them! The boys have won her over! My sis spoiled them more than me!

On Sunday I took both beardies out in the sunshine. Crush on his leash, Boodah in a clear tote. Oh, how they loved it! Crush was under one of the bushes when my bassett hound went under the same bush n started to dig a hole. Crush was not impressed n climbed into the bush. He settled in on a branch n sat there until I pulled him out. (Pics below). Unfortunately, the sun has been hiding for two days but we will get out again as soon as possible. Crush is weighing in now at 151.7g and his back shed is finally coming loose! YAY! Boodah's already shed his tail n beard again n his legs have started. He eats like a complete piggy-which I love! Boodah's weighing in at 48g.

Jodi: Thank u! April 1st is just around the corner! Can't wait to see ur new baby!! I m so excited for u guys. I'm just telling u rite upfront that u better post pics ASAP! lol

So, the boys have been a little tempermental the last two days! Lots of beards around here. Not sure why. It happens when they can't see each other. Crush only has one little piece of shed left on his neck. Boodah shed all four legs yesterday. His head n bacl r about to start. Boodah's been eating LOTS including his whole salad n around 100 feeders. Crush hasn't touched his salad all week. I give them lots of variety n Crush still won't touch it-not even the red chard which was his fav for Barbara. Crush is eating lots of feeders tho.

Well, as previously mentioned before, I have never put Crush n Boodah out together n won't do it but watching Crush try to get into Boodah's viv made me realize that Boodah has no intention of being submissive. He is not afraid of Crush despite the size difference. It's so funny to see Boodah hold his head up high n puff out his beard when Crush is outside his enclosure.

Ugh, God help me! I m dogsitting two dogs for the next 5 days n the beagle won't stop harassing the dragons! He is constantly scratching the doors n barking at them. I've now had to resort to blocking the enclosures w/cushions which Boodah n Crush are NOT happy about!

We added the second story to each enclosure last nite but they haven't shown much interest yet. Once the kids get home from school, I'll try to get some pics up but rite now I'm just trying to keep the beagle away! Oh, he finally laid down to take a nap! Thank God for small favors!

Hi Jane, can't believe I got unsubscribed to your thread, so now catching up. Crush & Boodah are doing the black bearding & bobbing to each other when they can't see each other? So funny, males are so funny. We have 3 black beards happening all the time, I sometimes think they'll get a crick in their necks from all the bobbing. Thanks for the pics, they're both so gorgeous, great colours & Boodah has some blue in his black. They're sure both growing like weeks. How old are they now? I have to get caught up on your thread!

Hi Deb! Thanks for checking in on us. Boodah will be 4 months in two weeks! Yesterday he weighed in at 67g! He's getting SO big. He's a great eater. He eats tons of feeders and all of his salad. He really is just the sweetest thing. Crush will be 8 months in two weeks. Yesterday he weighed in at 170g. He is certainly growing but is also my hormonal teenager! He has been refusing to eat his greens for about two weeks now. Also, for the last three days his bowel movement has been really small. I'm not sure if it's small be/c the lack of greens or if he's getting constipated. In his bath, I felt his tummy (down the right side), everything is nice and soft. Yesterday I started sprinkling his salad w/squash babyfood and gave him some apple sauce w/a bit of mineral oil. He showed some interest in his salad this morning but hasn't eaten any yet.

I haven't been on much for the last two weeks as things were very busy w/spring break and all. Here are some pics of my babies:
