ive seen pics of people feeding hard boiled eggs to monitors.... but i havent ever heard of any one feeding them to dragons...is it a possible food for beardies? or is this just more of a monitor thing...?

Eggs are really meant to be a treat for monitors, and I don't see why you can't feed them to beardies if they will eat them. Remember do not use the eggs as the main staple! Only as a treat.

We feed them to our monitor often, but we remove the yolks.. most of the time. Monitors will eat as long as you keep feeding them, so they typically have their life spans shortened by obesity. We feed 2-3 eggs without yolks once a week (we get them from his parents, so they vary greatly in size), in addition to his mice.

We've never fed them to our beardie, though. The only reason I like feeding them to the monitor is because of the protein. I don't think our bd would like them..

i was thinking about cutting them up and maybe put a couple wax worms on top of the eggs to get their attention and see if they start to eat the eggs.... we shall see! lol! ill let you know if they like them or not.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
