Blood in urate

This was my males urate this morning. Should we be worried. He's eating and pooping acting normal. Basking spot of 100, arcadia 12% UVB. Diet of mainly Dubia and hornworms.

That looks more like an off color due to food. If it doesn't keep happening I wouldn't worry about it too much. Offer some extra water via drips on his nose to make sure he is well hydrated and kidneys are OK. If it continues for more than a couple of weeks I'd get a checkup with a vet.

Ok thank you. I was able to send a photo to my vet and she said the same thing you did. That she wasn't worried if it is just the one time but if it happens again he will be going in for some tests and or deworming.
