Behavior Questions?

so my female amber 6 weeks started shedding today and she eats like normal but when shes basking she laying on her stomach and head like hugging the branch is this normal? ill upload a pic

She did poop today in the morning

That branch looks very huggable!! My beardie used to snuggle her bunny like this when she was basking. It's probably how she feels the comfiest/the most support on that log. You could try giving her a flat platform or a hammock and see if she stretches up a bit.

I have another question is it normal for beardies to close their eyes under their light?

i ordered the reptisun 10.0 but it wont come till next week. and i have this bulb

That could be causing eye sensitivities. If it is nice where you are you could bring your beardie outside for some natural uv rays for a an hour or even a few hours if the UV index is high and just use a heat bulb indoors for heat. Just until you get your reptisun.

i dont have another heat bulb because the bulb im using is both but can a regular house bulb work? should i remove it? and just take them outside for a couple hours until i get it?

A regular housebulb is fine, and can take the place of a heat bulb because it does the same thing...produces heat.

does it matter if it's energy saver? because i think that's all i have in my house but it doesn't matter because their sleeping already i'm going to go to home depot asap tomorrow
