He usually closes his eyes around night time. Is he sleepy or does it have to do with his husbandtry. I use reptisun 10 and a reptile basking bulb.

Hi, is the Repti-Sun 10.0 a strip fluorescent or coil/compact bulb? Do you have the UVB right alongside a bright white basking bulb? What is the distance of the UVB to the basking spot?

its the long tube. However the uvb is somewhat in the middle and the basking bulb is more on the right. Hes usually on the right side more but occasionally comes in the middle. I cant really more the uvb because it was built to be in the middle.

Is he only closing his eyes around night-time or is he doing it during the daytime too? What is the distance of the UVB to him?

its a good amount. probably 6 inches. give or take. i think its usually night time but ill check today and let you know.

It sounds like he is tired. My beardie will fall asleep on his basking log a little before lights out.

yup its usually at night. hes probably just tired
