beardie opens mouth when picking up

She just started doing this.Shes 3-4 mths old and ive had her since july 1..Last couple days when i go to pick her up she opens her mouth slightly and is more nervous acting than usual

eh, they go through that phase.
some get really aggressive and will even snap at you, Dargon used to charge at me then run away.
Tasty Treat would open her mouth and then lick me.
You just have to keep picking them up as usual. don't act afraid. if she does look like she might bite just hold your hand there. at that age it won't hurt, just pinch a little. once she sees her actions won't scare you away she'll stop.

That's a perfect time to stuff a piece of greens in her mouth. :lol: Either she will stop doing that to you if she doesn't like greens or she will eat the greens and be happy. It's a win/win for you either way. :wink:
