Beardie constantly constipated

Hi everyone! Well....lately my beardie has been getting constipated easily, and usually if I give him warm baths and feed him prune baby food he finally goes, but this time nothing is working. I can feel the lump near his vent, and I've been massaging his belly in the bath. I feel so bad for him because he keeps going in his special spot to poop, but ends up just sitting there which is another sign of his when he needs to go but can"t. I just bought pumpkin today and gave him some earlier, but still nothing. Does anyone have any advice on what else I can do or should I just continue with the warm water baths and baby food and pumpkin? I was told sometimes they need warm water soaks twice a day everyday to get their bowel movements going again and sometimes it takes awhile but I am really getting concerned. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Is his live food smaller than the space between his eyes? Are his basking temps at least 95? (up to 105 for a baby) What type of substrate is on his floor? Does he get regular baths? Do you ever offer him water orally with a dropper or syringe?

Like Esther said, proper temps., hydration and size of prey are very important. Keep up the pumpkin , add a little veg. oil, and try a warmer than usual+ slightly deeper bath to where he almost needs to swim. That may do the trick. Just be sure to stay with him so he's safe.

Thanks so much for your responses! The good news is that Baby finally pooped today!!! After a longer warm bath and massaging his tummy, he went in the bath! The basking spot is 103 degrees and his substrate is tile. I know the crickets may be a bit to big for him but I am having a huge problem finding the correct size crickets because petsmart only sells small and large crickets and the small crickets are TOO small, he won't even pay attention to them but the large crickets aren't full grown and they seem to be just about the size of the space between his eyes but he just doesn't seem to digest them well so It's a tough situation.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
