Bearded dragon beard puffing up during feeding

I have had mushu for a week now she is 3 years old just today I noticed that when I got the crickets and dusted them she moved and faced me and puffed up her beard why is this?

Hello,

This can happen, unfortunately. Were the crickets possibly too large for her?
Do you feed her in her tank or do you place them in a plastic bin to feed her? Try just
putting a few out for her at a time, so it doesn't overwhelm her. I know she's an adult,
but maybe she might prefer smaller crickets, but I'm just guessing.
Does she interact with you outside of feeding times with you?
