Just a quick question. Is it normal for bearded dragons to flail around in the tub. Almost like they were tail whipping in the water. They were also scratching themselves quite intensely mostly on their head. Is this normal :?: :?

Yes, some of them seem to enjoy the feel of water on their skin, I always think mine are giving themselves an extra " scrub" when they do the scratching thing. The tail flailing almost seems like they are trying to swim, if only the water were deeper. It's kind of cute I think.

mine acts like i am trying to kill him every time i put in in the bath.

My boy is the exact same way! He's calm for about three seconds after I put him in and then he spends the remainder of the time trying to get out by thrashing, jumping, and trying to leap up my arm. Hoping he comes around at some point.

after a year and a half, he still does that. though more recently he actually swam.

That's what I thought too but I watch him closely and sometimes he does it without any water going near his head. I have some videos of him doing it outside the bath making me think it could be a simple itch.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
