Backgrounds?

What's the purpose of the backgrounds you can put around the glass of the tank?

1) to look pretty.

2) to block their sight of other dragons in other cages.

3) to prevent them from seeing their own reflections in the glass.

4) to make the whole enclosure feel a little more "enclosed" and safe to them.

Does it stress them out to see their refection?

Some do get stressed, yes. Others don't seem to care.

It varies dragon by dragon.
