I know this is probably a dumb question, but can you feed a beardie baby food veggies in lieu of fresh veggies? or is baby food strictly for beardies that aren't eating properly? any info would be greatly appreciated

Still quite new to the care and feeding of my beardies. I understand that a period of adjustment is to be allowed before their appetites settle down again. I have been sneaky with regard to feeding fruits and veggies though. My girls were off their greens for a couple of days and wouldn't eat very much. While baby food can be considered a treat, a lot of it is pure fruit and/or veg. For my girls, varied greens are always available (spring and dandelion greens seem to be a favorite with them both) but to make sure they're getting as much variety as possible, I've found that putting about 10 small phoenix worms and a dab of baby food in the same dish works well. The worms wriggle and get covered in goop and they're gobbled up in moments. Chopping greens up very small and adding it to the mix seems to work okay as well. This is not a staple by any means but it helps in keeping the diet varied. At least, this has been working for me so far! Comments, criticisms and guidance from wiser heads than mine are always welcome :)
