Baby bearded Dragon

So i was wondering i just got a bearded dragon today about 3 weeks old and it has clear nails only hypo has clear nails or do all babies have clear nails? The parents are het hypo trans orange.

Only hypos will have all clear nails, If only some are clear then its not hypo.

What Gail said. Hypo has all clear nails unless they are het for hypo of course.

Yea all his nails are clear what does het even mean i just understand hypo means they are more brighter and trans is clear seen and know how they look like but not as a tiny 3week old baby

Does anyone have any Picture of baby HYPO only before and after picture im curious to what my little guy might look like afterwards. When would his color start developing his only about 3 weeks old at the moment

I would post you pictures of my little red/orange hypo het trans but I don't got a digital camera and believe it or not but I don't have a cell phone since I never have really had a need for one and don't really want to pay for something I don't even use. You can find pictures of hypos on the web. What they will look like as adults depends a lot on what their parents look like. Also depends if you got a normal, leatherback or silkback as well. Hypo just means hypomelanistic which means lack of black pigment so you could have a citrus hypo or a red hypo or orange hypo etc etc and they will all look different since the base color is different. Also how your beardie feels. Like when Harley is happy and sitting on me or in my shirt pocket napping, she is bright as a lightbulb with reds and oranges but when she is basking or irritated, she darkens up and turns more of a copper color.

Het means that they have one copy of the hypo gene, there needs to be two copies in order for hypo to visually show. Your guy got one copy from each parent so he shows the trait.
He almost looks like a pastel too which simply means he will have softer pastel colors and not the bright, vivid ones. Hypo pastels are very pretty and I would guess you guy will be yellow with orange.
Also, you guy isn't a trans, they are gummy looking as babies. Kinda icky actually.

Oh Thanks everyone But i only said trans cause his parents were trans i know that he isnt but it is in his blood lines though no? Like if i bred him theres a chance for trans even though he isnt? But thanks for the picture quite nice actually still waiting for mine to show his coloration

There is no way to know if he is het for trans with out breeding him to trans to find out. Its possible but its also possible he doesn't carry it.

From looking at that sorry its kinda blurry though it seems like a boy to me no?

Pretty blurry but my guess would be a boy. And as for het for anything, it would need to proven in breeding. Like Gail said, you would need to breed him to a het trans female and then if you got trans babies, then you have proven he's het.
