First off, I've never seen my beardie do that. He usually rolls around (yes, literally rolls around) in the sand, or rubs up against his logs.

Second, isn't Malygos the name of the dragon in Eye of Eternity? ...Yes, I'm a player too.

WOW... I watched Malygos eating that pinkey mouse... Poor thing, when my lizard ate it, she got it down fast (with only a minimum amount of squals, hehe). She screwed that guy up pretty bad.

I have watched the video also and i believe that you should only give a beardie a pinky when they have just layn a clutch. Esp not a live one! it is far too fatty and hard to digest. Correct me if im wrong here but i would steer well clear of them

Nah, Pinkeys are high in protien and, although they are high in fat too, are generally a good treat. I feed Carth a pinkey mouse every few months for that extra spike in protien, but it will make him hyper and he burns off the extra fat lol. As for the digestion, Carth has never had a problem with it. Not sure about other beardies though

The pinkey in that video was pretty large though, and thats probably why Malygos couldn't eat it whole. If you do feed him another one, make sure it's a lot smaller, and basically isn't able to move much at all.

Scorch does this when I take her out in the grass even when she is not shedding. I think she just likes the way it feels. It is quite funny. Loved your video!

WOAH! yeah, that mouse was WAY to big.... seems a shame to stress a beardie's digestive system like that unnecessarily. Please, lay off the mice, or at least take into consideration that beardies shouldn't eat food that large.

GET A SNAKE!!!!!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
