Any thoughts on what this might be? Could it be scale rot? Have an appointment scheduled. Acting fine, not eating a whole lot but she’s never been a good eater.

Probably nothing serious, they do get slight trauma/wounds at times but something like that is generally not serious. See what the vet says, a bit of silver cream might be helpful there.
