Angie, Loki, Laura & Dozer (new pics 03/29/15)

I wanted to introduce everyone to our new girl. She is on her way now from Denver, CO. I will post some new pictures tomorrow but these are the ones we have so far. She is part leatherback.

Lazlo, nothing negative meant there, it was just what you mentioned in one of your posts. I'm glad you were able to give Angeline to Diane, she's gone through so much this past year, Angeline is the perfect beardie to help them all heal. Please, nothing meant, you took great care of her, she's beautiful & I can just imagine what she'll look like when she's full grown! So please, I know you took her from an awful home & that you healed her well or she wouldn't be the wonderful little beardie that she is!

Laszlo, I hadn't seen your last post until now, guess we were posting at the same time. I know Deb didn't mean anything by what she wrote, she was trying to make me feel better. She is a gorgeous girl with a nice round belly and is very healthy because of your great care. As I mentioned before, she has gone through a lot of changes in her short lifetime but I think she will adapt fine. We were up for a challenge.

Those pics are great, she sure likes that pillow, anything soft, right? I'm glad she's pooping so well, so important! Keep showing us pics & Lazlo I'll love to see your reptile room. I have 5 grown males & my reptile room is my living room! They've taken over, I have to say, but I love it! Just a crazy dragon lady, not to mention a golden gecko to add to the chaos!

Lights off @ 8 oclock pm. On @ 9 am. In the summer any longer it just gets too hot. They would see the sun come up and set as well in their room.

She ate primarily dubia and pw's collards, kale, littleneck squash and an occasional berrie. The greens in the summer are from my yard, so she got those for a bit. Oh you should know that she got calcium w/NO d3. Multi as well.

Hmm.. if there's anything else I think of ill let u know.

Oh and her lights were externally ballasted 60 watt mvbs from megaray, which I just replaced with the same bulbs from Westron since I haven't gotten anywhere in my dealings with Megaray in over a year.

Westron made their bulbs so they send me replacements for my megaray ballasts.

She also had a 60 watt basking light on a rheostat set @ about a buck seven.
And a dimmed one on the cool side @ 80ish

Ok, so I've heard of beardies loving to watch TV which Angie does but a particular tune from a FB game? I was playing a few games and she was very active running & jumping in her tank. I played Solitaire Castle and noticed that she settled right down so I left it playing while I got the cricket tank ready for tomorrow's delivery. She sat on her basking spot the whole time just listening to it. :lol: Here's a couple of pictures showing her white belly and chest while listening to this particular music.

So, this is my question, did I spoil her in 2 days or did she come to me already spoiled? Perhaps Laszlo would like to chime in too.

She's so beautiful. It's obvious she came spoiled. LOL! Look at her face! You can tell by her coloring that she was well started and cared for.
