ok so i read some were that when a beardie is shedding that you can rub alovera on there back/were there shedding and it will help them shed is this true? cuz i hvae about 50 alovera plants lol
Yes you can as long as its 100% pure aloe and you dont let them bask with it on.I usually do it right before lights out after a bath and by morning its pretty much gone but if there is any there you should wipe it off before allowing them to bask or they could get burned.ilovebeardeddragons":9ca99 said:ok so i read some were that when a beardie is shedding that you can rub alovera on there back/were there shedding and it will help them shed is this true? cuz i hvae about 50 alovera plants lol

I won't ever use the plant juice again. I prefer the Aloe Vera gel which clear and comes in a tube. You have to make sure it is 100% with no alcohol or fragrance in it. And, like Vicky said, you can't put them under their lamps after it is applied or it could cause a nasty burn.
