Got this beautiful wooden bird cage last night. Needs some work, but this will be a garden enclosure for my little Princess to enjoy some nice days while I work in the garden

This corner was all wax lol


Ok then. Super glued any cracked wood, melted out the wax. New nails, wood filler and waiting lol

Going to keep the white and gold, but going to paint the trim, the “sun” in the roof (plus every other spike) gold and add small gems (fake of course lol) to give it some shine and maybe a few small blue accents on the trim.

It’s getting there Waiting on paint to cure so I can put the roof and floor back in. I need to get to the craft store and get some gold paint, brass hinges and some faux gems to finish it for the exterior. Interior I’m thinking a doll bed or couch and maybe a suspended / angled hammock with a “tile” floor.

Man that looks good it was pretty rough at the start but you've worked wonders on it.
I'm looking forward to seeing the finished project.

Yeah, it looked bad but it was fairly solid underneath and I made it stronger with a few well placed nails. I’m thinking maybe a flattened glass marble floor. Would hold heat (I’d put a rug over it to prevent burns and shade the canopy) look nice and be an easy scrub off if I hold it together and coat it with epoxy.

I think I settled on a floor design. Coins. Just scattered coins creating a treasure vault floor (covered in epoxy, of course) A dragon needs a treasure at her summer palace.

I LOVE the idea of coins (Secretly wish I had thought of it) lol. That came out super nice.

I’m happy with it so far. I noticed it’s a bit light when the wind blows. The coins should fix that lol
