Haha, I said that once... 2 months after getting Abu, I fulfilled Step 9 and 'rescued' my litle guy from the pet store. I think Im now through the first 10 steps (plan to skip step 11 - well maybe just rename it 'become an expert in viv furniture and what will make a perfect home for your beardie')..... I have a free viv and entire lighting set up on standby for the day that I finally reach step 12!!!

If it was not for fear of two of them in the same cage hurting each other I'd get a second baby in the same viv but one day I'll build my own viv's and get some more

Help! Does anyone know where I can find a good sponsor? I find myself looking at craigslist in my area daily for a beardie to rescue. Someone needs to stop me before my hubby kicks me out! :wink:

I think I may be addicted too. I have had my little guy for almost two weeks and now I want another besides being on this site most of day. The guy I got my baby is now selling the mother. She is a nice light citrus. My husband said no. I can understand because we have two hatchling turtles, dart frogs, 3 dogs and 4 kids & a hatchling BD. But deep down I would love another BD. I know this will pass in time. I just love this little guy. I'm really excited for him to grow up a little and mellow out.

Bearded dragons and this forum site are both VERY addicting!
My boyfriend gets jealous (in a cute way) about how much attention and effort I put into our beardie Peanut. Well good luck to him when we have a human child, lol! :lol:

Barbara, The Hands on Science ctr here sells lollipops with crix and mealies inside. Kids actually like them. I don't let mine have them.

This is too much fun. Say, do any of us have a life? I mean other than beardies and soccer and music lessons and.....

I have been trying to talk hubby into letting me get another already. Have only had Draco 3 weeks. Hubby is not giving in. :evil: We went to petsmart this weekend and I tried the guilt trip. Saying look how sad he looks. He needs to come home with us. Still hubby said no. Last night I tried once more. Telling him I just know that little beardie was not getting the attention he needed. I told him that if someone gets him they may not take care of him. I said and we have all these stinking crickets Draco won't touch we need to do something with them. So another beardie would be a good idea as he may love the crickets. Guess what hubby said.....NO! He is so stinking hard headed. Normaly he will give in to me but he is standing firm this time. Of all times for him to be hard headed. If I knew I wouldn't have to live in the shed. I would just go get that lil fellow and bring him home anyway. Hubby would freak! :shock:

And yes I am addicted to Bg.org. I can't get nothing done around here. I clean and stop to read. Clean a little more then stop again. This will go on all day! HELP!! I need an intervention. LOL! :laughhard:

A sponsor...good idea :idea: . We could get coins with a beardie head on one side and our favorite feeder on the other side (or Australia).

you know what, I used to have a reef tank...a 90gal to be exact but I gave it up few weeks ago to concentrate on beardie. I like the reef but I wanted something I could touch and bring outside. Dog is not allowed in my apt. so I pick up a beardie and as i've mentioned I'm an addict...and its fun.

Hi Everyone,
I dont post much... but I read lots. Ive definately been bitten by the dragon bug. I totally love them. Tonight, I went to Zack & Weezies moms house, to get 1 (ONE) baby dragon to add to my clan. Just ONE!!! Needless to say... I left with 2!!!!
I did have to do some begging (to hubby) to get the second one... but I won in the end. Both of my new babies are happily in their tank, enjoying life. They join Monica & Chandler (my first dragons... Got them from Barbara and Frank), and George (A rescued Dragon).
Now I have 5!!!!!!!!!
Frank said that my hubby is a enabler..... Too funny!!!!

Such a sweet addiction. (not willing to try the worms though)
