Sorry, but I cannot send emails to each person who submits to let them know it will be used. I plan to try and use one pic for EVERY beardie, if I can. If I can't use those submitted, I will usually follow-up with an email to see if another can be provided.

Please keep a look out for a new Global Announcement (like this one) that asks members to review the preview images for correctness (names being correct and all). I will also reply on this topic when that is posted, and will email those in the Beardie Stuff Store notification group. Preview images will be up for about a week before I start finalizing things for publishing.

If the picture needs adjustments like contrast, a bit of background work, etc, do we do that, or leave it to you?

Leave it. I will do color correction for ones needing it significantly. I do it less for images I place into smaller positions, and more for larger ones. For full page selections, I will even go so far at times as to clean up dirt on a carpet, etc. Unless contrast is really flat, I don't mess with it too much, but if I think a larger image could benefit significantly (and thus the calendar being that much nicer), I will put a contrast curve layer on top of it in Photoshop while doing the layout.

I have a question about the calender pictures immhoping someone can answer for me. I'm constantly taking pictures of my dragons with my IPAD and they are good pictures and everything but I'm not sure if I could use them for the calender. There's one particulary that I love and would be great just because how cool it looks but I'm not sure if it would be allowed. It's a black and white photo with a heat signature. Is something like this allowed or does it have to just a regular picture? Also I have tons of great photos through Instagram but they have editing done to them, not wording or anything just different styles of photos like antique and stuff like that. If read through all the information but I guess I'm just a little slow on if these pictures could be used or not.
