    Small patch not shedding

Hey let me know what you folks think of this.I'm not positive how long it's been like that, 5 days at least I think. If it was larger I wouldn't be as concerned but being a small area it's odd. I've given a couple warm baths. I may be premature worrying.

3.5 month old suddenly very unwell help :(

How big is the tank? They get stressed out fairly easily. Has it been going to the bathroom? Horn worms can be a lot for a beardie that size. Shedding can cause some lethargy and loss of appetite. Have you checked them for parasites? I'm not sure if rubbing olive oil on the skin is a great...

New to reptiles but have lighting question

I have a 40g tank with a 100w basking bulb. The temps on the basking branch have yet to break 110, and it's only a couple inches away at the closest point. I find its nice to have a branch or larger basking area so the beardie can adjust closer or further. Readings from a zoomed digital probe...

    concerned about my beardie

I would agree on the possibility of parasites. If lighting and feeding is good then it would likely be something infecting. Generally a sign of parasites is loose stools though so I'm not positive.

    Very very underweight bearded dragon

Maybe if you can get a hold of some reptiworms, they're pretty soft and generally small, also know as phoenix worms i believe - they are loaded with calcium and goodness. . The shop i buy them from calls them soldier worms. Superworms can be pretty lengthy, if they're not chewed well could be...

    Is my Beardie acting lethargic?

Need accurate temps and at least lighting brands, age of uvb also. How do you measure your temps? again if it is shedding at all that can be a reason for laziness also. It's not always something bad.

    Comfy time

CooperDragon I've recently come across pictures of necrosis in beardies. It never occurred to me, I just thought his tail was darker. He did have a fairly uneven shed on his tail recently but it did all eventually shed. Does the darker color towards the end look concerning to you? I can get a...

    Very very underweight bearded dragon

You're getting great help especially from Tracie. I just wanted to jump in and say stop the meal worms. A couple to get it interested in eating would be okay, but for his size and health I fear they could do more harm than good. They are very fatty with little to no nutrients and generally have...

    Is my Beardie acting lethargic?

As previously mentioned please give us info on your setup. Not that we doubt you but "adequate" doesn't help us help you.. How old is your beardie? Is it shedding? Does it defecate regularly and what is the consistency of said feces? Does it ever get live feeders? Assuming you mean commercial...

    Mopai Wood

Yes rugrats! Haha that's it. I can't think of any particular brand, I would just go to home Depot or any large selection hardware store and ask for a water based sealer that you can brush on. Some sealers/stains are supposed to be applied with a cloth but that may not saturate as well. You may...

    Mopai Wood

Interesting. You may have some luck with a water based wood sealer. Or anything similar to make it hard/sealed so there isn't a chance of loose pieces Reptar will eat. The sealer should be fine health wise, allow it to air out at least a full day after it is dried. See what others say maybe...

Question about Buddy Age compared to Length

Looks like a similar size to my guy when I got him from Petsmart but they told me ~8 weeks. One thing for sure, disregard just about anything they tell you. Super cute though, glad to hear he's healthy! Caution with the fake plant thing, looks like the same suction one I have, my beardie has...

Baby Bearded Dragon unable to use its from arms

Maybe find one and call them asap and see if they're willing to help you out since you're sort of taking in a rescue. They might be able to make you a deal to diagnose it at least. I would doubt petsmart actually uses a well rounded vet.
