Hi! Your little guy is so cute! From what I can tell, you seem to be doing just fine with him! I would say not to do keep the heat lamp at night, but if your house is cold usually, then keep it. Hopefully others will chime in. Good luck!

Yes, I get that as well. Many people think the same thing when they hear I have chickens as well. Nobody else seems to get why I care so much about chickens and lizards and frogs. Sometimes people even make fun of me... but that's okay, because they don't know what they are missing out on. :D

when trying the flashlight method, I usually take my beardie into the bathroom, or my closet where it is really dark. It makes it easier to tell, and it makes my beardie calmer. Just a suggestion.
