    No Basking Lamp :(

Is he brumating right now? If so, you're probably okay to wait a few days. What kind of lamp is it? You could use a regular household (incandescent or halogen) bulb for heat.

An afternoon in the life of Stella - LAZY. 1/26

Oh, her lights are on a timer, they are set to come on at 8:30 am... after we leave. I don't want her lights to come on before we leave, its too early in the morning and by the time we get home, I'd have no time to spend with her! No, what she does (sometimes) is completely ignore her lights...

    hornworms as a staple diet

I think its a great idea to do both of those! I personally do Dubias and Superworms (mainly because any other worm just doesn't seem to interest Stella - I haven't tried hornworms with her yet, though).

Moose Is Here! ( update 8/19)

WOW is Moose ever growing up fast! Its interesting how his coloring is staying the same as when he was a baby - he still looks like a circus peanut! It really is very unique.

    hornworms as a staple diet

I think as a staple, yes... Like if they are in the regular rotation of different worms/insects, that'd be fine. I wouldn't feed them exclusively, though. Gotta have some variety!

Re: PeeWees Great Adventures, Pee's New Friend!!!

Kaleen, that's amazing about Cappy! I am a huge lover of cetaceans. It has been theorized that they have a part of their brain that we humans don't have, and they can sense and feel emotion in a way that we can't even conceive or understand. Its mind blowing, like they possess that elusive...
