This is a bullfrog tadpole someone gave my son... no idea age or whatever. He has tiny buds of hind legs. He's moving a lot less now, not eating and his tail has parts on it that look like they're covered in slime or maybe peeling off sort of? Is this guy sick with something?

Hold on a minute, so they cannot have a spot that is closer than 12" to the UVB? I might be confused, but I thought that they needed to be able to get within 6-8 inches of the UVB?
