    Outdoor enclosure

i dont think 4x4 would be too big at all, theyd probably love it. my guys love to explore, would give them a bit more leg room. if theres plenty of shaded spots for em to get out of the sun should be good to go.

Just changed adults ovr to sand.

it the enclosures that i have messy poopers in i run a thin bead of clear silicone between the cracks, keeps anything from falling between makes it easy to clean, if you keep it thin its not even noticeable so its not gonna look tacky or anything, and it comes right off with a razor blade if...

Just changed adults ovr to sand.

theres no reason tile should still smell unless it didnt get completely (or properly) cleaned. i use tile in every dry habitat enclosure i have and not a single one smells. i have had problems with a couple messy crappers who would always seem to search out the cracks of the tile and crap right...

    Vacation for 10 days

if it were me and there was no other way to grab a tank bigger than ten g id at least go buy a big sterlite tote or something. i know the 20g totes are only 3-4 bucks, we use them outside and for lay bins they do just fine. not a ton of room but enough bigger than a ten gallon tank.

New vivarium advice about temperatures please

what kind of bulb are you using? if just a housebulb you could try spot lights or flood lights, they will give more directed/focused heat towards the basking spot instead of just all around like regular bulbs. what are your other temps throughout the cage?

    Feeders

if they are bigger crickets that sounds about right. mealworms are fine and you dont have to remove the heads. ours at that age blow through about 15-20 mealies a day, we feed once a day. the occasional wax worm is ok, roaches are good, phoenix worms, small supers. we pretty much just feed until...

    Chahoua x Crested Gecko Hybrid

We had an extra male Chewie that we decided to take to the show last weekend and put on the table. We ended up trading him for this guy. I know theres alot of controversy over hybrids and for the most part im not much of a supporter, but as long as the animal is healthy and theres no harm done...
