Vacation for 10 days

Im going to be leaving for 10 days in june. im planning on taking my Ozzie to my mom's house for the time im gone and paying my lil bro to take care of him BUT i have a couple concerns...

1) i only have a ten gallon glass aquarium to take over there. there is no way im moving the 75 gallon over there. i kno ten gal is small but for ten days he should be ok. right?

2) as far as UVB light is concerned, the tube light will not be going over there cuz it wont fit on top of tank with the basking light. i do have a coil UVB but i know this is no go but...is the coil better than nothing?? or will he be alright without UVB for the time (10 days)??

From what I understand, he'll be better off with no uvb than with the coil uvb. He may not eat, even if his normal tank is there. Some beardies don't eat when their 'slaves' aren't there to feed them. For 10 days, he'll probably be o.k. It would be better the way you are doing it than leaving him home alone.

if it were me and there was no other way to grab a tank bigger than ten g id at least go buy a big sterlite tote or something. i know the 20g totes are only 3-4 bucks, we use them outside and for lay bins they do just fine. not a ton of room but enough bigger than a ten gallon tank.

You can put a clamp lamp on it for heat and you can put a flurecent fixture right accross the top.
