    Not digesting Superworms properly?

My beardie, Dexter is 1 1/2 and I've just started feeding him superworms in addition to crickets and greens. He LOVES them! I dont know how many he would eat if I let him eat to his hearts content, but last week at his first feeding he ate 20 and seemed to have no problems. I've been giving...

    OUTDOOR ENCLOSURES...

I would like to build an outdoor enclosure so Dexter can get some natural UV light, our vet said about 20 minutes a week was all that would be needed. I know Barbara (Zak-n-Wheezie's mom) gives all of her beardies outdoor time in an enclosure. I was wondering if anyone had directions for...

    Zak-n-Wheezie the 2-Headed Bearded Dragon(s) RIP APR 4/16

Hi Barbara, I've been away for quite awhile had to check back to check on some medical issues - Dexter had diareah (ended up being pin worms - he is recovering well) The first thing I did as soon as I could was to find this panel to check on Zak-n-Wheezie. I am so thrilled they are still doing...

    Zak-n-Wheezie the 2-Headed Bearded Dragon(s) RIP APR 4/16

Barbara, So glad to see the boys are still thriving. I haven't been on in awhile (they were doing their brumating thing, last I was on). Dexter is doing well. He's about 8 months old now. Looking forward to catching up on this thread.

    Why hellloooo there ;)

Well, she's not a hypo with the dark nails... is her skin translucent (see through) at all? If so that would make her a translucent (trans) I think. I don't know much on this subject at all, just going by that post... If she's not translucent, she may just be a "pastel"... I haven't come...

    So I've Done It Again!~ Meet Bender~Update

True... plus, for me, the longer they stay baby little, the easier it is to hold off the pringles cravings... I know as soon as Dex is full grown, I'll have to get another baby.

    So I've Done It Again!~ Meet Bender~Update

Don't worry Barbara, he's getting the best care any beardie could ask for. I'm sure he'll hit a growth spurt soon! Dexter is about 4 months and a little past two months he hit a huge growth spurt!

    Why hellloooo there ;)

I've seen that color morph called "pastel" more technically I think it is either hypo or trans (translucent).... this link describes the difference between hypo & trans... mostly has to do with the color of the eyes and nails. In any event, I agree, she's very pretty.... I'm hoping, If I'm able...

    Zak-n-Wheezie the 2-Headed Bearded Dragon(s) RIP APR 4/16

Hmmm... Barbara going into brumation..... that might help her with her Z&W withdrawls  .... but then we'd all have withdrawls! Not to mention her other beardies. Hope you feel better soon!

    NEW LITTLE ONE!

Dex does that once in awhile... sometimes I'm not sure if he's angry and trying to puff his beard (doesn' look like your baby is doing that) sometimes, they gape when they are too hot. Maybe your bath was too warm? Does anyone else have any ideas? Let us know if it happens again, we can see...

    Toy Bearded Dragons

Sandy, what about fleece? Looks like weirdbuglady used felt, but the not being able to wash thing doesn't work well for kids.... I have sooooo many projects on my plate right now, but this is such a good idea... The one weirdbuglady made was awesome! If I get a minute I'll try to work up a...

First time Mama to a Beardie UPDATED WITH PICTURE

Yes, beardies have a way of capturing our hearts and putting an odd trance on momma's.... I would never have imagined myself a reptile owner, but my son wanted one for his 5th birthday and my hubby (raised with all kinds of different animals & reptiles) did some research and said a beardie would...

    Meet what's-his-name!

What a little cutie! I love the rusty tones. As far as names go, I'd suggest a unisex name that would work either way. Either way, I'm sure one will come to you... keep us posted!

Our Baby "Crash" ~ (updated with Maltese Kiss Video!)

That is too cute! He certainly looks ready for some football! I love those heating pads too. Right now we don't let Dex roam on his own, we're either holding him or letting him sit on our chest... but when he gets a little bigger I'd like to make him some... you should think about posting the...
