    GRUB PIE?!

How much should I give a full grown dragon? We give her about 25 large Phoenix worms once a week and salads daily. I want to introduce her to it in case we can't get bugs right away or leave her with someone who isn't ok with bugs for a weekend.

    Probiotics

I don't know, I think it's preventitive. Hopefully we can stop when the sitches come out.

    Probiotics

The Dr said her toe was looking good, so she left it unwrapped :D but the stitches need to stay a little longer. No more Cephelaxin, but she's still on Baytril. She's been eating much better, so I think the yogurt might have helped, but I might have been over doing the squash puree... She...

    New owner, BD throwup

Temperature is SUPER important! He needs to be at 85 most of the time with a basking temperature around 105, and nighttime temperatures around 80. They can't digest their food if they're not warm enough.

    Probiotics

Her tail looks really good, I think the antibiotics are more for the abscess on her toe. She's been much perkier today, but I got her some yogurt for her anyhow. I think she just likes to watch me panic. She goes in for a re-check on Saturday, hopefully things will look good and we can stop...

    Probiotics

Zoi's been on antibiotics (.14ml of baytril once daily and .32ml of cephelaxen twice daily) for 3 weeks now due to an abscess and tail rot surgery, and I think it's really starting to bother her stomach. I want to give her something to help, it breaks my heart to see her feeling so yucky. I've...

    Silliest Beardie Moment

Zoi seems to think she can fly, except she really only jumps about as well a toddler. I have had to catch her more times than I can count

    Nightcrawlers for babies/adults?

My vet just recommended we switch to worms. She said they have a perfect ratio of nutrition for beardies, are are low fat. (Zoi is a little on the chubby side  ) She told us to roll them in dry food crumbs if Zoi has trouble with them being slimey.

Greens for plant part of a beardies diet

Dandelions grow best in cool, wet climates, so they may not grow there at all.

Beardie won't eat greens or crickets

The best trick that I have for greens is to scatter leaves around Zoi's favorite hang out locations. It's not a guarantee that she'll eat them, but sometimes she gets a wild hair (scale?) and will munch. I've also found that she will only really eat mustard greens. I know it's not ideal, but...

    Dandelions?

Oh man, my Zoi LOVES dandilion blossoms. She snatches them from my hand. She could live without the greens though (or any greens, really) I usually pick them from around my neighborhood, dandilions are super susceptible to weed killer, so if a plant looks healthy, I figure it's OK.

How much should she be eating

We just rescued our very first Beardie, a sweet girl we named Zoi, and are loving her. We are pretty sure she's full grown. But neither of us has ever owned a non-furry critter, so we are super new at this. She doesn't eat very much, a few pieces of greens/fruit. It might add up to one mouthful...
