Ok, so I just got the medicine. She gave me Ofloxacin Opthalmic for her sore. One drop three times a day and it should go away soon. I'm happy and Sapphy doesn't mind me dropping it on her sore. I'm so proud of her. :D

It's just staining. My beardie gets them an usually a warm bath and they either go away or fade significantly. Don't worry about it - they'll go away. :)

If you live in Florida or another state where the keeping of dubia roaches is illegal, you can also try to get some discoid roaches. They are just as good and still very popular. Many places sell dubia or discoid, but ALWAYS check the law first!

Does the black stripe look thick like un-shed skin? Try giving him a nice warm bath, but take a cotton swab and rub the black stripe (rub how the scales lay, rub towards the tip of the tail) and see if the skin comes off. Other than that, can you take some close up pictures?

Impaction happens more from mealworms than crickets. It would take quite a few large crickets, trust me. One large cricket shouldn't be a problem. :wink:

Little update: It's been 3 hours since I posted, but Saphira seems perkier. She still hasn't eaten all of her food, but I took her out of her tank. Currently my fiance is holding her and she's doing great. She loves being cuddled and she's just zooming around the bed if not up on his chest.

If you want some good stuff to feed Pablo, I recommend Oxbow Critical Care. My veterinarian put my first beardie on this when he had severe MBD and it reserved it completely. I highly recommend it and my vet was a savior for recommending it. I've even used it on Leopard Geckos and it bounced...

Try feeding him more vegetable matter like turnip and mustard greens. How old is he? If he's an adult then he needs to eat mostly vegetables and fruit with a little bit of meat. It should be an 80:20 ratio. Here's an excellent website for what beardies can eat...
